1 1/2 cup canned chick peas (or slightly overcooked, soft chick peas)
1/2 cup tahin
1/2 tsp sea salt
juice from 1 lemon
1 tbsp olive oil
Options: 1 clove garlic, 1/2 tsp ground cumin
Blend / puree all ingredients together, pour into a serving bowl and top with drizzled olive oil and chopped parsley or some paprika.
Option: add 2 to 4 tablespoons ice cold water when blending to make the humus smoother. Add more water or liquid from the chick peas if your hummus is too thick.
