Mignonette Sauce:

1 tbsp minced shallots
1/3 cup white wine or champagne vinegar
cracked black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Mix the shallots, vinegar and pepper (to taste).

Options: for an herbed versions, add some chopped cilantro, parsley or tarragon. For spicy heat, add some chopped jalapeno pepper. Or, add some minced ginger.

Try this out with some rose vinegar and mago, papaya or cranberries.
